The topic of Systems Thinking and Managing in the Context of VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity). is deep and wide, and overlaps with pretty much every other consultancy discipline.

Some basic, classic texts – fundamentals that underpin subsequent 21st century research and practice  - are a good place to start:

• In Search of Excellence – Peters & Waterman 1982
• The 7 habits of Highly Effective People – Stephen Covey 1989
• When Giants Learn to Dance – Kanter 1989
• The Fifth Discipline – Senge 1990  

And – anything written by Mee Yan Cheung Judge. (for example – Organization Development – Cheung Judge and Holbeche, 2015).
